The TAS2505-Q1EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is a complete demo and evaluation reference design for the TAS2505-Q1, which is a low-power Class-D digital audio amplifier with analog, digital, and mixed input capabilities. The EVM can be controlled via USB using TI’s Codec Control software, or through external I2C/SPI commands. Two external circuit examples show how open load detection can be added to the amplifier’s native fault detection that includes the ability to detect short to ground, short to power, short between terminals, and over-temperature.
