Overview

This reference design is a solution for singlecell Li-ion and Li-Polymer battery fuel gauges in consumer electronic applications. The reference design package contains a BQ27010 circuit module, an EV2300 PC interface board for gas gauge evaluation, a USB cable, CD ROM including Windows™-based PC software and support documentation. The design solution includes one bq27x10, a current sense resistor, and all other components on board necessary to calculate remaining battery capacity and predict system run-time to empty.
