Overview

This reference design provides an isolated, 1-Mbps, 3.3-V to 3.3-V RS-485 interface using the ISO35T, isolated RS-485 transceiver and the TPS76333 high-accuracy linear regulator. This board achieves signal and power isolation and at the same time decreases board space and power consumption.

  • 4000V peak isolation
  • 1/8 unit load - up to 256 nodes on a bus
  • Signaling rates up to 1Mbps
  • 50kV/us typical transient immunity
  • This reference design is orderable

A fully assembled board has been developed for testing and performance validation only, and is not available for sale.
