The PGA300 is an all-in-one System on Chip (SoC) solution for Pressure Sensor Systems, utilizing a 3rd-order pressure and temperature compensation algorithm for linearization. The PGA300 also drives the 4- to 20-mA current loop, and provides the excitation voltage for the resistive bridge sensor. Thanks to the highly-integrated PGA300, this TI Design minimizes the typical component count and board size for a pressure sensor transmitter without losing accuracy and performance. This TI Design also includes the typical protection circuitry for the industry-standard IEC61000-4 suite of EMC and EMI tests.
