This reference design for the audio subsystem of a humanoid robot contains an 8-channel digital microphone interface, which is processed into a single TDM data stream by the high-performance PDM to TDM converter PCMD3180-Q1, and includes a digital input Class-D audio amplifier TAS6511-Q1 to deliver 50W output power to a 2ΩΩ load.
A fully assembled board has been developed for testing and performance validation only, and is not available for sale.
