The TPA2001D2 is a stereo Class-D audio power amplifier that does not require an output filter. The TPA2001D2 has an output power of 1-W RMS into 4 Ohm speakers. By eliminating the need for bulky LC output filters, the TPA2001D2 audio power amplifier enables designers to reduce board space and lower overall system costs by 40 percent while still maintaining the high efficiency associated with Class-D amplifiers.
