Overview

The TPS258x-Q1 is an integrated USB charging port solution which includes a synchronous DC/DC converter capable of supplying up to 6.6 A and integrated detection and control for implementing USB Battery Charging 1.2 and Type-C™ ports.

Features
  • 5.5-V to 26-V (40-V Abs Max) input range current mode control DC-DC converter
  • ± 10% current sense accuracy (IOUT =2.8 A) for precision cable droop compensation
  • USB battery charging specification Rev. 1.2 and Type-C rev. 1.3 compliant
  • Thermal management with NTC function
  • User programmable VBUS current limit and internal VCONN current limiting
  • AEC-Q100:
    • Temperature Grade 1
    • HBM and CDM ESD
