Overview

The TPS54302EVM-716 is a fully assembled and tested circuit for evaluating the TPS54302 synchronous step-down SWIFT™ converter. The EVM converts a 8-V to 28-V input voltage to a regulated 5-V output voltage that delivers up to 3 A. The TPS54302 delivers 40-μA ultra-low quiescent supply current (IQ) and enables small designs by integrating the MOSFETs, internal compensation, and implementing current mode control to reduce external component count. 95.57% efficiency is achieved through the integrated 85-mΩ/40-mΩ MOSFETs, low quiescent supply current, and pulse skipping at light loads. Using the enable pin, shutdown supply current is reduced to 2 μA by entering a shutdown mode.

Features
