Overview

The TPS562219A is a simple, easy-to-use, wide-Vin, 2-A synchronous step-down converter.  The TPS562219A employs D-CAP2™ mode control that provides a fast transient response and supports both low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors such as specialty polymer and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors with no external compensation components. The TPS562219A operates in forced CCM mode at light loads.  The TPS562219A also features adjustable slow start time and a dedicated PWRGD pin.  The TPS562219AEVM-663 evaluation module operates from an input voltage range of 4.5 V to 17 V and supplies a 1.05 V output voltage at up to 2 A load current.
