Overview

The TPS62840-1YBGEVM056 evaluation module (EVM) facilitates the evaluation of the TPS6284XYBG family of 750-mA step-down converters with 60-nA IQ in small 1.5-mm by 1-mm WCSP packages with 0.4-mm pitch. The EVM contains 2 separate circuits to create output voltages between 0.8 V and 3.3 V from higher input voltages between 1.8 V and 6.5 V with a maximum solution height of 1 mm. Due to its extremely low IQ, the TPS6284XYBG provides a long battery lifetime for systems which have very low current consumption states such as wearables, building automation and the Internet of Things (IoT).

  • 1.8-V to 6.5-V input voltage range
  • 750-mA output current
  • 60-nA quiescent current
  • 1.5 x 2.0 mm² WCSP package
  • 1-mm maximum solution height
  • Two independent circuits to support a range of output voltages (0.8 V to 3.3 V)
