Overview

The TPS62866EVM-051 evaluation module (EVM) facilitates the evaluation of the TPS62866 6-A, step-down converter in a small 1.05-mm by 1.78-mm WCSP package with 0.5-mm pitch. The EVM has a programmable output of 0.4 V to 1.675 V via I2C with 1% accuracy from input voltages between 2.4 V to 5.5 V. The TPS62866 is a highly efficienct and high-power density solution for point-of-load (POL) converters for space-constrained applications, such as FPGAs, camera modules, and solid state drives (SSDs).

Features
  • 2.4-V to 5.5-V input voltage range
  • 0.4-V to 1.675-V programmable output voltage via I2C
  • 6-A output current
  • 39.2 mm² total solution area
