Description

The TPS7A6650EVM evaluation module (EVM) lets you apply an input voltage from 4 V to 40 V to the input of the TPS7A6650-Q1 device under different loading conditions from 0 mA to 150 mA. The output, input, PG and switching wave can be monitored on the EVM.

Features
  • 4-V to 40-V wide input voltage (VIN) range With up to 45-V transient
  • Output current of 150 mA
  • Low quiescent current (IQ):
    • Less than 2 µA when the EN pin is low (shutdown mode)
    • 12 µA typical at light loads
  • Low ESR ceramic output stability capacitor (2.2 µF to 100 µF)
  • 250-mV dropout voltage at 150 mA (typical, VIN = 4 V)
  • Low input voltage tracking
  • Integrated fault protection
    • Thermal shutdown
    • Short circuit protection
  • Operating ambient temperature range from –40°C to +125°C
