Überblick

The LMI800PS evaluation module (EVM) contains evaluation and reference circuitry for the LMI800PS hot-swap controller. The LMI800PS device combines a high-performance hot-swap controller with a PMBus interface to accurately measure, protect, and control the electrical operating conditions of systems connected to an 800V backplane power bus or PSU.

  • 700V to 870V (typical) operation
  • 5A to 25A programmable overcurrent threshold using PMBus
  • Adjustable output voltage slew rate control
  • Adjustable transient current blanking timer using PMBus
  • Option to apply output hot-short using onboard a SiC Combo JFET and an isolated gate drive circuit
  • Onboard output discharge circuit in the event of an input UVLO
