This spreadsheet calculates the typical time required to ramp the load voltage to its steady-state value. The fault timing-capacitance is then calculated based on this ramp time. The spreadsheet handles a parallel R-C load or a load consisting of a constant-current sink in parallel with a bulk filter capacitor.
