CC2530BALUN-REFDES

The CC2530EM reference design contains schematics and layout files for the CC2530 and contains one part from Johanson Technology interfacing the antenna (documented in AN081). The Johanson Technology part realizes the balun-, filter- an impedance matching-function and is custom made to be operated with CC2530. The reference design demonstrates good techniques for CC2530 decoupling and RF layout. For optimum RF performance, the reference design should be copied accurately. This is a 2-layer reference design with a SMA antenna connector allowing operation with single ended 50 ohm antenna for easy connection to instruments for measurements.
