The TPS6598x configuration tool assists in the design phase by providing a GUI interface to configure firmware for a specific end use. This tool supports the TPS6598x family of USB Type-C^TM and USB PD controllers, which include the TPS65982 and the TPS65986. The user can load and modify their existing firmware image or start with a preconfigured profile. The output of this tool is a binary image that is used to flash the device.
