How to Design a High-Current Buck Converter

00:10:49 | 07 NOV 2014
Computing, Cloud, and Communications systems such as Rack or Blade Servers and Ethernet Switches, have several high-current rails up to 30A that require precise regulation, high density, high efficiency, low BOM count, and excellent thermal performance. Traditionally, a step-down PWM controller with external MOSFETs has been used to regulate these rails. In this video, learn how to use TI’s NexFET process and PowerStack packaging technology to power these rails with one integrated FET converter.
