Combining the CC1350 Wireless MCU with the FemtoFET CSD2328x family for LC-sensing requires a new hardware and software design, which uses the Comparator A and the TDC modules inside the Sensor Controller engine.  The solution is able to detect metal and non-metal in front of the inductors and has 2 sensors for rotation counting in both directions. The goal for the TIDA-01228 is to enable Class 1 RF-enabled water meters at lower system cost than any other solution available today.
