Modern Op Amps: Output Impedance

00:12:23 | 15 MAY 2018
The output impedance of an op amp can have a profound impact on overall circuit performance, but is often overlooked in design. Newer design techniques have resulted in non-ideal characteristics for output impedance, and this can pose additional challenges when it comes to designing parts that exhibit these characteristics. This presentation introduces the concept of output impedance, the difference between open and closed loop, and how to verify if your model accurately captures this parameter.
