This training session covers lidar fundamentals, common lidar architectures and an overview of TI's signal chain devices designed for use in lidar optical analog front-ends. The session also compares the use of time-to digital converters (TDCs) and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) in different lidar system architectures. A live demo of TI's lidar reference design will also be presented.
