This video covers a deep dive on the digital filters used inside delta-sigma converters. Specifically, we will focus on how digital filters introduce latency as this is a significant difference between SAR and delta-sigma ADCs. The goal here is to provide enough background on the differences between SAR and delta-sigma to effectively contrast the two topologies.
