Challenges in modeling switch-mode converters
00:09:28 | 27 MAR 2021
In the lecture, we will learn:
- Switch-mode power converters are not linear time-invariant (LTI) systems.
- We can’t use transfer functions, pole-zere plots, Nyquist analysis, Bode plots and root locus on non-LTI systems to design controllers.
- We can make several approximations to yield LTI models that are good enough to control.
