In this lecture, we will learn:
  • Real power sources have non-zero, and highly-variable, output impedances.
  • A “Line Impedance Stabilization Network” (LISN) has low output impedance at DC and a standardized impedance over the frequency range of interest.
  • The LISN impedance is often provided by the input impedance of a spectrum analyzer.
