Grid protection relay: Passing EMI with isolated DC-DC bias supplies

00:01:14 | 09 JUN 2021

When dozens of grid protection relays are present in a single system, each relay needs to interface with a variety of analog sensing, digital processing and signal communication circuitry, ultimately crossing the isolation barrier. Since a system can use twenty or more DC-DC bias supplies, it's important that these isolated power supplies use as little space as possible.

Learn how to maximize space with the UCC12050 isolated bias supply module, while also helping to pass EMI certification.
