Using an active EMI filter in power converters to reduce EMI filter size and cost

00:45:42 | 10 DEC 2021
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) has become an increasing concern for system designers of many applications. DC/DC power regulators generate significant EMI and passive EMI filters used to mitigate this EMI are one of the major bottlenecks to increasing power density of regulator designs. This presentation provides an overview of active EMI filtering to actively attenuate EMI for a significant reduction in input filter size and cost, with increased performance.
