This is the fourth video in the C2000 ePWM video series, which covers type 4 ePWMs. This video details the dead-band submodule found within the ePWM module. The dead-band submodule allows for the addition of custom delays to the rising or falling edges of the ePWM output. This submodule is further divided into 5 subcomponents for input selection, rising/falling edge delay, signal inverting, pass-through, and output swapping. A few examples of relevant calculations will be provided to further develop understanding.
