Unresponsive Controller Detection

00:03:49 | 21 JUL 2023

System controllers that are critical to system operation can use a monostable multivibrator pair to detect if the system has become unresponsive and reset the system. By sending a pulse every few miliseconds to a multivibrator pair, a reset pulse is sent if the signal stays at a constant high or low. This video quickly covers a simple solution with standard logic devices.
