Introduction to AMR Sensors

00:07:09 | 03 APR 2024

Anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) sensors offer higher sensitivity and lower noise than Hall-effect sensors, but the mode of operation is different. This impacts how and where the sensor is used. This video discusses the physical behavior of AMR materials and shows how products like TMAG6180-Q1 and TMAG6181-Q1 take advantage of benefits this sensor type offers while addressing limitations of the material response.
