Optimizing DC/DC converter design for load transient performance and small size

00:24:52 | 02 JUL 2026

This analysis of converters with external compensation examines three designs to achieve the following: Design 1 = best load transients; Design 2 = smallest size; Design 3 = smallest size with improved load transients.  The droop compensation feature is introduced to improve the load transient response without additional capacitance.
