Bypass Capacitors

A supply bypass capacitor can be populated for the TMCS-A-ADAPTER-EVM using the unpopulated 0603 component pads with the kitted 0.1µF ceramic capacitor and zero-ohm resistor. Install the capacitor and zero-ohm resistor onto the pads for the voltage supply and ground pins respectively for the desired device. These components connect the ground pin to a layer on the back of the board providing the ground connection for the bypass capacitor. These components are present to help smooth the supply voltage of the TMCS magnetic current-sensing device. Other ground connections can also be made using the 0603 passive component pads.
