Description

This IP Camera power module is a highly efficient power solution that enables high performance 1080p operation at the Class 1 PoE power level. This innovative power module, used in the low power DM385-AR331 IP Camera, relies on highly efficient switchers like the TPS5432 that are also very cost effective. The result is, TI delivers a solution that enables high performance while lowering system power to industry leading levels.

  • Enables Class 1 PoE system power in a 1080p IP Camera
  • IP Camera solution power as low as 2.2 Watt for 1080p30 with 5 Volt input
  • 90% efficiency on 5 Volt operation. 78% efficient on PoE operation.
  • Lower system heat generation simplifies package design
  • Cost effective compared with many PMIC solutions
