Description

The TIDC-BLE-METER-READING reference design focuses on an application for reading an energy monitor device over a Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) link using the SimpleLink™ CC2650 multi-standard wireless MCU and corresponding SensorTag module. The module is then connected to the hardware (with a minor modification) from the TI design TIDM-3OUTMSTSTRP as the metering data source. This TI Design also includes an Android application that functions as a remote reader and control terminal

Features
  • Reading of the energy monitor’s parameters with Bluetooth Low Energy link
  • Simple creation of Bluetooth Smart profile
  • Interface to Energy Monitoring Device via UART
  • Contains TI's SimpleLink Ultra Low Power Wireless Microcontroller, MSP430 microcontroller and low voltage low power 7-channel transistor array

See the Important Notice and Disclaimer covering reference designs and other TI resources.
