Voice Triggering and Processing with Cloud Connection to IBM Watson Reference Design

TIDEP-0083

Design files

Overview

This reference design enables a single platform for demonstrating end-to-end voice capture, recognition and processing functionality.  It further enhances application development time by including pre-integration with the sensory keyword recognition software and the IBM Watson Cloud services. The design also features a flexible microphone platform, enabling configuration based on intended application noise environment.

Features
  • Single digital signal processor (DSP) SoC for audio pre-processing
  • Linear microphone board (LMB) with 180 degree coverage of audio source
  • Hardware/software with modularized components to build an audio pre-processing solution for clear voice triggering and recognition
  • Pre-integration to IBM Watson
  • Sensory TrulyHandsFree keyword recognition
  • Speech to text conversion and auto audio recording after keyword trigger
