Description

The ADS124S08 Excel™ calculator tool provides the user with several easy-to-use tools to simplify the configuration of the ADS114S06, ADS114S08, ADS124S06, and ADS124S08. To ensure proper device functionality, the tool includes a common-mode-range calculator to easily determine if the input, supply voltage, and gain combination drive the PGA out of its linear region of operation. The tool also provides a CRC calculator to confirm digital communication accuracy and a digital filter tool to calculate settling time and normal-mode rejection for any desired filter setting. To help speed up software development, the tool includes a code-conversion calculator and a configurable register map.
