Overvoltage Protection

If the output voltage is detected above the overvoltage protection threshold (typically 17.3 V), the TPS61372 stops switching immediately until the voltage at the VOUT pin drops below the output overvoltage protection recovery threshold (with 500-mV hysteresis). This function prevents the devices against the overvoltage and secures the circuits connected with the output of excessive overvoltage.
