7.3.9.1 Internal Oscillator Mode

A resistor from the RT pin to AGND sets the switching frequency of the device. The TPS7H502x controller has a nominal switching frequency range of 100kHz to 1MHz. In internal oscillator mode, the RT pin must be populated. Equation 9 shows the calculation for the RT value based on the desired switching frequency. The curve in Figure 7-6 shows the RT value that corresponds to a given switching frequency for the TPS7H502x.
