Normal Operation

The device output voltage VOUT(Nom) tracks the reference voltage VADJ/EN when the following conditions are met:

  • The input voltage is at least 3 V (VIN(min)) and greater than the nominal output voltage plus the dropout voltage (VOUT(nom) + VDO)
  • The reference voltage at the ADJ/EN pin is greater than the enable rising threshold VIH and stays stable at VOUT(Nom)
  • The output current is less than IOUT(max) (IOUT ≤ 70 mA)
  • The device junction temperature is less than the thermal shutdown temperature (TJ < TSD)
