8.3.6.1.1 Setting Overcurrent Threshold Using Power Supply Voltage

A simple external resistor divider driven from the power supply as shown in Figure 8-5 can be used to generate the external overcurent voltage VOC applied to the VOC pin to set the desired overcurrent threshold IOC according to Equation 21.

When using a resistor divider as shown in Figure 8-5, R2 must be less than 10kΩ to mitigate the impact of the VOC input impedance on overcurrent threshold accuracy.
