Power Supply Recommendations

The LM5140EVM was designed to operate over an input voltage supply range between 3.8 V and 42 V. This input supply must be well regulated. If the power source is placed more than a few inches from the LM5140-Q1 EVM, additional bulk capacitance and ceramic bypass capacitors may be required at the power supply input. An electrolytic capacitor with a value of 47 µF is typically a good choice.
