This application note details automotive diagnostics and the benefits the TAS2505-Q1 provides to automotive system design and reliability. In this note, implementing diagnostics in the TAS2505 is described in length. Some of the features discussed in this document are built-in to the device and other features are highlighted to show examples of external implementations that have minimal size/cost impact to the design.
