9.2 Generating the AFE SPI Log

In the AFE79xx bringup script the parameter below can be updated in order to enable the logging of the AFE SPI writes in the two formats, Format 1 and Format 5.

  • logDumpInst.logFormat to ‘0x21’

After running the script in the AFE79xxGUI a file, named “Afe79xxPg1Format5’.txt", containing the registers writes for the AFE will be generated in the following folder: ‘C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Texas Instruments\Afe79xxLatte\lib’.
