3 Hardware Connection

Figure 3-1 shows the system block diagram which follows the Launchpad Pin Connection table.

The hardware setup is shown in Figure 3-2 where the details in the touchscreen can be seen. The Resistive Touchscreen used is of 780Ω and 250Ω resistance across the X and Y axis respectively. The pin configurations information for the resistive touchscreen being used and the calculations that need to be made based on the resistance, is shown in the Design Considerations section.
