6.3.10 Thermal Shutdown

The TPS51388 monitors the internal die temperature. If the temperature exceeds the threshold value (typically 160°C), the device is shut off and the output is discharged. This protection is a non-latch protection. The device restarts operation when the temperature goes below the thermal shutdown threshold.
