Multimeters

A voltmeter between 0 V and 15 V should be used to measure VIN at TP6 (VIN) and TP7 (GND). A voltmeter between 0 V and 5 V for output voltage measurement at TP4 (VOUT) and TP5 (GND). A current meter between 0 A and 10 A (A1) as shown in Figure 7-2 is used for input current measurements.
