7.1 Application Information

The device is a typical buck DC/DC converter that is typically used to convert a higher DC voltage to a lower DC voltage with a maximum available output current of 2A and 3A. The following design procedure can be used to select component values for TPS56x24x. Alternately, the WEBENCH Power Designer software can be used to generate a complete design.
