1.4 Device Information

The TPS25752A device is a single-port, USB Type-C® PD controller with an external high-voltage power path for source-only applications. The TPS25752AEVM evaluation module is used to evaluate the functionally equivalent TPS25752AD (internal high-voltage power path) version of the TPS25752A PD controller. The TPS25752A PD controller is an excellent choice for single port power applications operating in the standard power range (SPR) for source-only applications up to 100W (20V/5A).

The TPS25752AEVM evaluation module includes several devices for complete evaluation of voltage protection, power topology, current sensing and an additional TPS25730A PD controller for barrel-jack replacement. For more details on each device on the TPS25752AEVM, see Table 1-1.
