Introduction

The DRV81315-Q1 and DRV81325-Q1 family of devices consist of low-side switches with the following features:

  • DRV81315-Q1: The DRV81315/A are single protected low-side switches with a low RDS(on) of 100mΩ. The device can be controlled by means of a GPIO interface. The switch is protected against overcurrent, overtemperature and output overvoltage protection which can also be used for inductive load demagnetization. A Faults report is available as an open drain STATUS output. The DRV81315A also supports an open-load/short to GND detection diagnostic in the off state and is reported on the STATUS pin.

  • DRV81325-Q1: The DRV81325/A-Q1 provides two low-side switches with a low RDS(on) of 120mΩ. The device can be controlled by means of a parallel interface. Each channel is protected against overcurrent, overtemperature and output overvoltage protection for inductive load demagnetization. A Faults report is available per each channel as an open drain STATUS output.

This document is provided with the DRV81315-Q1 and DRV81325-Q1 evaluation modules (EVM) as a supplement to the DRV81315/A-Q1, and DRV81325/A-Q1 data sheets. This user's guide covers EVM hardware setup instructions, GUI installation, and usage instructions.
