I2T Tuner

The I2T Tuner tab allows the user to configure or tune the I2T settings of the high-side switch and visualize the resulting curve versus a custom wire profile. On the I2T Curve sub-tab, configure the I2T curve of the device in real time with a provided and custom wire model.

There are two main sections in this tab. The I2T Calculator section is a helpful tool to adjust I2T Factor and Gain settings to accomplish target current thresholds. This section is purely theoretical and does not impact the actual TPS12S24F-Q1 part.

Using the values adjusted in the I2T Calculator section, the user can apply the values to the Tuning Parameters section to implement the calculations in the I2T Curve in real time. Once satisfied with selected values and ready to test I2T on the TPS12S24F-Q1, use the I2T Parameters section in the Channel Settings tab described below.

In the Wire Properties box, the user can plot a wire model against the current I2T graph. A couple of different example or sample models are provided, however the user has the ability to provide a wire model in CSV format. This format is a simple CSV format that contains current and time values. For example, the following CSV file:

Current,Time
5,100
8,80
10,50
13,40
15,30
17,20
18,10
19,5

In the Complete sub-tab, the user can examine the full fuse current profile as described in the datasheet.

When any of the controls under the Tuning Parameters box change, the graph updates in real time to show the updated parameters.
