Mechanical Implementation

The basic mechanical structure has a direct influence over the range of motion of the magnets and dictates what sensor and magnet pairings are viable. In Figure 2-1, the method 1 trigger slides to the left when the user applies pressure and slides back to the right when the user releases. As illustrated in method 2, the trigger rotates about a hinge when the user applies or releases pressure.
