7.1.4.2 Transmit Enable

Power-consumption requirements are supported by the TX_EN function. This function puts the entire chip into a power-saving mode to enable maximum standby and talk time while minimizing excessive output glitch during power-up and power-down. The device is active when TX_EN = high; otherwise, the device goes into a low-power-consumption shutdown mode. During shutdown, the output is pulled low to minimize the output voltage.
